Antique Copper Byzantine Sunflower Choker

A sunflower, bright as late afternoon, anchors this richly textured choker. I hand-built the upper band in a classic Byzantine chainmaille weave using antique-copper findings, then layered a draping strand of glass beads and faux pearls for movement and depth. The double lobster closures connect on both sides at the back—so the necklace adjusts smoothly from 14 to 18 inches and the drape stays perfectly balanced.

The glossy sunflower pendant catches light beautifully against the warm, dark metal—equal parts romantic, boho, and a hint of steampunk. Wear it as a joyful everyday signature or as a statement piece for festivals, cosplay, date night, or any “main character” moment.
